Rights Canada Spring 2010

Promote Titles – Increase Visibility – Sell Rights

Registration Deadline: Monday November 30, 2009

The AECB is pleased to invite you to register your titles in the Spring 2010 edition of the Rights Canada Catalogue. Participating in the Rights Canada Catalogue means promoting your titles to over 2,500 foreign contacts and hundreds more at international book fairs such as the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and the London Book Fair.  Work collectively with other Canadian publishers to increase international awareness of Canadian titles and promote the Canadian publishing industry while benefiting from the AECB’s experience and international relationships.

What’s New?

The Spring 2010 edition of Rights Canada will be distributed digitally to all foreign contacts. The catalogue will also be available for download on the AECB website.  Additionally, individual publishers will have the option of emailing the catalogue directly to specific contacts worldwide. As always the Rights Canada catalogue will be available in print at all major book fairs the AECB attends.

Why?

The AECB has positioned itself to be a leader in providing intelligence and research in the areas of digital publishing.  With the advancement of new technologies it is essential that Canadian publishers have a positive presence in the digital world. Publishers, rights agents, buyers and sellers are reaching for their handheld devices and laptops to promote and sell rights instead of paper catalogues. Features such as direct live links to your website or email mean that international contacts can contact you regarding your titles faster and easier than ever.  A digital Rights Canada means distribution can reach an even wider audience, while eliminating increased printing and shipping costs.
